For What Generation Will You Give, will You allow the Meek to Inherit the Earth? [Working on the Margin against Cursed Ground]
The question that beggars everyone’s attention should be this in twofold: 1. What do I want to leave to that Generation immediately younger than Me?; and 2. What is the smallest detail in sequential step of which I need to pay attention to, in this very present moment, in order that the Gift May be Worthwhile.
What Do I Mean by this, By the first, I mean that I would like to offer A Better Earth as a Gift to My Younger Cousin Matt, and to My Younger Colleague in the CTMU Compatriots Who You all well know [Mr. Tommy Goloboy]. These two fine Young Men are around 10 years My Junior, I wish to offer them something substantial which I can provide under My current and future powers—and By the second I mean that in this present moment, writing this article is the best possible thing within My power to accomplish towards this Gift [or perhaps when I am finished, reading those extra 5 pages of My Business Strategy book Your Next Five Moves by Patrick Bet-David such that My Mind and Will improve to impart an even better Gift of the Future].
It’s really very simple and life is lived by the Margin, meaning this very sentence, paragraph, article coming sooner rather than later; the 5 pages of My business strategy book entering My mind when I am on the verge of going to sleep—Just to squeeze in those extra few marginal pages as the mental fog tightens its grip. The Gift is procured on such Margins, this is My Life’s work, not to pontificate, but to gain in Real wisdom of the Lord in the Sweat Of My Brow as the thistles come forth.
It is nice when the inspiration strikes and You’re working with the grain, but most of the time it is not like that. You need that extra rep on the margin of Your ability or the Margin of Your Boredom. I don’t feel like reading, just read 2 more pages, then after this 2 say,…2 more to make it closer to five, then 1 more to make it an actual rep of ‘5’ read. I once told this to a Highschool teacher of mine Who marveled at the Book I was reading [and how many I had been reading], I told Him, I just read 5 pages a day minimum, then the 10th page is usually within grasp if I just commit to reading 5.
The point is, and University Economics models will never tire in teaching You, indeed it is sound economics, differences are made on the Margin.
And You can only bestow a Gift You typed >One Letter at a Time <.
Because It doesn’t matter what forces Are ‘Out There,’ You can only effect What You Do. This is the essence of Stoicism and I would Say Christian Stoicism is a worthy Philosophy Because You know the Lord Caters to those Who Help Themselves. He wants You to work that Extra Margin to bring forth Crop from the Dust and earth that brings forth thistles.
What You realize as a professional Intellectual is that Every Book You finish reading is not the final answer, it’s just a further answer. You finish the book and exclaim silently into Yourself “Now What?” But this is the fact that You laboured so hard to read it, this is the feeling You get, the Ground is cursed. Yet You are best served by going to bed and waking the next day and picking a new book off of Your Shelf.
I think the Beautiful Thing and the Thing I pray hope for is that We will not cease in working in the Life Hereafter, that there will still be wooden tables and books to pour over in the Mansions of Heaven and the New Jerusalem.
So in the Present do not begrudge the Joyousness of Working on the Margin, it is a Gift You must procure for the Generation immediately Younger than You. In it All You make the World of Human affairs kinder and more prosperous, the Earth richer in its abundance. And by the Grace of God You can Make the Kingdom Better and Stronger in this life, and the Work and task will continue In the Company of Your Lord While You draw breath in Heaven (surrounded By saints Who were and are learned Men). What A Wonderful thought. God Bless Everyone! – Greg
