In Deriving metaphysic from the New Testament, one gives pause to think about the Transcendence of Christ from the background and primer of the lived Jewish histories. How he is the completion of all that was promised to the Nation of Israel giving in his life’s sacrifice the ultimate victory over Sin, disobedience, evil (in Satan), and Death. There is a white gold thread to pull us through the tumult of the current epoch. Where in paganism Man is trapped in darkened cycles of history, in Jesus there is culmination and progression together. The Logos is running a Fishermans line through each of us who have been called to confess the Risen Christ. In us it is called the logoi (as in the theology of Maximus the Confessor) which derives its actuality, sustenance, and consistency through Christ as the Logos. He is the center of Creation, the Beginning, Middle, and End of History, the Head of the Body of Christ (in procession behind him), the Second Adam, and at the Right hand of the Father with the World as his footstool (a way of conveying his Cruciform Theocracy - his rulership over the Earth).
In this metaphysic Man is gifted logoi-grace from the Logos.
